A moment to pause . . . .

What started out as a way to give our family a glimpse into our daily lives has opened an amazing new blogging world we had no idea existed.

We still have to remind certain family members (ahem) that we have a blog. . . . . .

But it's been a great tool to keep up with friends and make this world seem smaller every day.

NieNie's story and the power of this "blogging community" just gets bigger and bigger.

That is so cool, you were mentioned in the NY times!!! I started my blog when Ben left for Afghanistan, just so he wouldn't miss out on things. And it has become a lot more for me also. A way to get thoughts and feelings out, keep in touch with friends and family, get moral support when I need it...etc. etc.

Yay for blogging!

Kory looks at our blog all the time to keep up with the family. He thinks I spill more of my feeling on the blog than I tell him sometimes! The blog was also great when we were in Guam. Oh, BTW, I did not know you guys lived here! I would have attacked you with questions before we left. I am glad you liked it. Right now we're missing Guam too much to enjoy it. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!

I totally missed your links in the earlier posts. Blurking led me to the Nienie blog. I was watching a story about this on the today show this morning thinking I should ask if you knew how big it's getting. It is such a small world. BTW - I set up our blog so our families could keep up. Sometimes I think our navy family is the only one that checks in...
