With my skin cancer, "You have a highly unusual case for this type of cancer. We're sending you to Hawaii."
With Madi's illness, "I've never seen a case of Parvovirus this bad. It's highly unusual for it to last this long."
With Pacific Pest Control, "You have a serious termite problem. It's highly unusual to have 2 different types of termite infestations."
Let me share a few tidbits I learned about the newest members of the household:
* The swarming jungle termites were using my floor for MATING PURPOSES (which is why they were all crawling instead of flying)!
I've been told I'm a great hostess - but that's just pushing my limits.
* The snap crackle pop sound we heard throughout the night were the soldier termites sending a warning to headquarters that they had been discovered. It totally creeps me out that they have the ability to "think and communicate" like that.

*The subterranean type (the maggot looking buggers) are native to Hawaii.
We have a date set for drilling and foaming Monday morning - while David's living it up in Florida.
The visit concluded with my pals at Pacific Pest Control reassuring me the pests won't bother my Bali furniture. It's highly unusual for them to invade such a hard wood as teak.
We all know our track record with highly unusual circumstances.

...........highly unusual!!!!
I'm so sorry...it's about all I can say!
It's "highly unusual" for housing to accomplish anything that fast. We are still waiting for them to come look at our house after our flooding we had 3 weeks ago.
Bad experiences make great stories! You'll look back one day and say...I can't believe we did that! I guess you have to chalk it up to "experience." Wow! How do they get rid of all of them, anyway?
Hey Chan,
You'll never guess who this is.....
your long lost friends Jenny (Agren) Barbier and Jill Milne. We got together tonight and reminisced the many good times on Old Coventry. It wasn't the same without you, and we thought the 3 musketeers should find a way to get together sometime. I was just remembering the ghost in your dad's camper...Spooky! BTW--we were worried about "scoaties" in our teeth--haha! We miss you tons. Hope you are surviving the bugs, and that you are victorious in the end. Email me @ barbierjenn@hotmail.com. I'd love to catch up with you. Jill is at jillmilne@msn.com.
Luv ya,
Jenn and Jill
Eeewwww! I'm sorry you're dealing with that! I don't do well with any kind of creepy-crawly thing! Good luck!
