Honestly, I don't remember anything about the lesson. But I do recall reading that little index card daily.
I look back and think how simple those times seem compared to all the worries of today. But that little reminder to keep things in perspective - to worry less about what I can't control - worked for me back then.
A handwritten version, written on a piece of NavyLodge notepaper, is now wedged into the corner of the mirror in our cozy little rectangle of a hotel room. I'm hoping the daily reminder will still work for me today.
