Upgrade Objection

We've been consumed with houses and so many details that goes along with building one.
We walk into a friends house, "What size are your floor tiles?"
We walked into the produce store, "Oooh, look how well that counter goes so well with that color cabinet."
I'm sure it's getting a tad bit annoying for folks around us.
But had we not been so obsessive we would have completely missed this. . . .

I'm guessing the 2nd level door came standard.
The lanai must have been an upgrade.

Misse: Oh are you planning on having a walk-out roof? Is that an upgrade?

GGreen: When we built the house on Portal way, I told the builder to leave out the wall around the stair well in the entry because I was going to put a harwood handrail in place of the wall. They left the wall out; good for them. When I came to work that night, there was a door framed at the head of the stairs. Picture that! It was funny. Then I asked them to extend the roof out front to cover the porch; the porch ceiling was so low I could barely walk under it. And I am really tall! There are many tales of humor among the carpentry elite.
